The ankle boots also this autumn-winter are among the most loved male models. And not only by those who prefer preppy style. Comfortable and versatile, depending on the material used, they reached the peak of success in the 60s thanks to famous bands and rockers, first of all the Beatles. The main characteristic is that of being tall at the ankle and not having laces, but a zip or elastic side band. Many models: suede leather, like those of Fratelli Rossetti, with brogue pattern or in a bi-material version.

Like those of A.Testoni in soft slightly hammered nappa leather and calfskin with intense shades of brown.
Then there are those with high rubber sole, with a sporty allure (see Givenchy and Calzaturificio Soldini), perfect for when it rains, with side buckle or enriched with fringes. The Santoni ankle boot, for example, is made of gray leather with upper enhanced by a strap closure and a double maxi fringe, while the toe is decorated with flower decorations.

And still with a round or elongated tip, like many Berluti models; decidedly chic and well suited to formal outfits. The ankle boots are not naturally confused with the Camperos, very popular this year thanks to the western trend. Finally for when it will be really cold, here is the model signed Jimmy Choo with rubber sole and shearling interior.
