Men’s watches. Bulgari presents its iconic timepieces

In Shanghai, the Roman house reiterates the fundamental role of Octo as its iconic family, showing off some of the most surprising versions

Only they look at reality with different eyes it is possible to find new ways. This was the case for Galileo Galilei, as mentioned by Bulgari, where the same creative approach was used to create the watch of the maison. “The clock is not round or square or thick”, said Fabrizio Buonamassa, artistic director of the timepieces of the Roman house, giving life to models that, since 2010, have collected a series of awards both from the world of the hands and from that of design. Bulgari is currently competing for the Gphg, the Oscars of Haute Horlogerie in Geneva: a path on show in Shanghai where the Roman house has presented some of its most emblematic new timepieces.

Octo Grande Sonnerie Perpetual Calendar
With a case that has now become the men’s icon of the fashion house, this watch, made in a single model, combines a large and small ring tone with a perpetual calendar, a tourbillon, a power reserve indicator.

A well visible automatic movement also on the bottom side. The rose gold case measures 44 mm.


Octo Finissimo Skeleton
Declined in titanium, this skeleton timepiece offers indications of hours, minutes, small seconds and power reserve. A watch characterized by the use of blue, which we find on the central hands, the minute scale and the alligator strap.

Octo Coins
From wrist or pocket (comes with a removable rose gold chain), this watch with an iconic Roman coin has a rose gold case and 44 mm diamonds. Inside, a hand-wound movement with a flying tourbillon.
