The famous French eyewear brand Vuarnet, the only one in the world to exclusively use mineral glass lenses and creator of many cult models, such as Glacier, allies with Noah, the cult American brand founded by Brendon Babenzien, former Creative Director of Supreme, to give life to a truly explosive collection.
The capsule retrosportswear consists of 13 products, published in limited series: hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps, swimwear, beach towels, tote bags and, of course, sunglasses. Brendon Babenzien, founder and artistic director of the young Noah brand born in 2015, is enthusiastic about this collection because, as he himself declared, he had long wanted to associate his clothing collections in Vuarnet. “I kept the memory of this cult brand of which I owned a model when I was young. Vuarnet shares the same philosophy and aesthetics of Noah. The frames are designed to face any condition of brightness, from the sea to the mountains, always maintaining a very elegant style “.
Vuarnet, creates an exciting new partnership – last year to celebrate its 60 years has created a special limited edition with Eastpak backpack – and continues to expand its product spectrum in the field of streetwear. Brendon Babezien and his brand Noah perfectly embody the spirit of the French brand and its values: freedom of expression, passion for sports and travel, musical culture. After decades of experience with Supreme, Babezien has created its own brand, currently only male, which fully reflects its way of experiencing fashion. In its collections are combined to perfection garments and accessories that belong to styles decidedly antipode, such as punk and preppy, while much attention is dedicated to the choice of materials used (high quality yarns and elimination of synthetic fibers and derivatives from plastics) and research in terms of sustainability.
The VuarnetXNoah collection, whose garments and accessories have a price range from 50 euros up to 220, is already available from April 5 in Paris, at the Vuarnet store, and exclusively at Bon Marché Rive Gauche, in New York and Tokyo in Noah Stores, and of course online on the sites of the two brands.
