Mr Porter x Prada is the “first time” of the Italian fashion house Prada with an e-tailer, Mr Porter. Just like in love stories (with happy ending) nothing is left to chance. To celebrate the civil union, the English style e-commerce has already published an indiscretion of the new exclusive capsule on its Instagram profile. A global campaign that will touch not only the social networks of both spouses, but the whole web, to arrive among the apps and end with a short film on The Journal, the lifestyle channel of Prada. Without forgetting the event party in New York on April 26th which obviously will be in a bowling alley. Yes, because the 32 pieces of the Mr Porter x Prada capsule collection are inspired by the years of the popularity of bowling. In this capsule, however, the classic and elegant men’s clothing of the ’50s and’ 80s is revisited in functional terms with a decisive injection of fun.

Among the proposals Mr Porter x Prada, with a very large target price (from £ 260 to £ 2700), you can find madras or percale shirts with a sporty collar in various prints (Hawaiian, pop-cartoon, checkered), cardigan stripes with mid-century inspired inserts, navy shirts, satin and suede jackets and two T-shirts printed with PRADA’s exclusive bowling logos.

The range of men’s ready-to-wear garments is completed by trousers in which the pleats and front folds, polo shirts and blazers in two-tone mohair wool come together. Finally, the shoes could not be missing, specifically the moccasins, the derby with the sole and the rubber toe and the sneakers in nubuck and deer leather. The Mr Porter x Prada capsule collection will be online on the English e-tailer from April 25th.
