“The Gospel According to André” is the adaptation in film of that novel of training (fashionable) that represents the life of the great André, a boy in love with elegance from the day when he was able to observe the refined wardrobe of his grandmother Bennie Frances Davis. In the documentary there are exclusive interviews with Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, but also Valentino Garavani, Diane von Furstenberg, Manolo Blahnik, Fran Lebowitz, Whoopi Goldberg, Tamron Hall and Isabella Rossellini. In addition to the big names of fashion, archival footage of André Leon Talley’s 67 years and his career began with the entry into the Andy Warhol Factory in the ’70s and in WWD, the magazine that saw Talley editor from 1975 to 1980. We are waiting to discover the Italian dates.
